The Micro-Image Capture 5 is the latest in digital microform image capture technology featuring a high quality, high resolution 5 mega-pixel view & capture allowing for full size, quality printing of your microfilmed images.
The Micro-Image Capture 5 uses the latest USB 2.0 technology for the fastest real time viewing available and is compatible with Windows XP on up to Windows 7.
Capture an image with a simple keystroke and save to your PC as a digital file or send to your network printer for a hard copy. The Micro-Image Capture 2 features a wide zoom range (10x-87X Optical) that is perfect for most all microfilmed images.
Choose the standard range lens primarily designed for the viewing and digital capture of microfiche and microfilm images that were originally legal or letter size documents, or the high range lens for 42X and higher magnifications.
Engineering 35mm images can be partially captured with the standard range lens, but we will soon release an option lens that allows for full frame capture of Aperture Cards and other wide format 35mm images like newspaper film.

Capture software provides for many adjustments to image quality like contrast, brightness, and resolution as well as optical flip, rotate and invert (neg to pos). Send images instantly to your printer (scans in a second!), e-mail or to a designated pc folder with one keystroke. Our exclusive multiple output functionality allows for printing, save as digital file, e-mail, & ftp outputs that can be configured to activate simultaneously!
Output image format types include; PDF, TIFF, JPG, PNG, PSD, BMP, CAL, GIF, CAL, WPG and more.
Our multiple capture options allow for; full screen capture, frame capture area selection by mouse drag and multiple capture of selected areas on the same image that combine automatically on one page for print, save or e-mail output functions.
The unit comes standard with a fiche carrier, but we offer an optional manual roll film attachment that is rugged (metal, not plastic) and easy to add making the unit universal, allowing for both fiche and roll film to be loaded without having to switch attachments.
A fully motorized roll film device is in the design stage now and will be available soon.
The Micro-Image Capture 5 includes viewing and capture software that is compatible with Windows Platforms 98SE/ME/2000/XP/Vista and Windows 7.
The Micro-Image Capture 5 comes with a 1 year repair or replace factory warranty while almost all other manufacturers (Canon, Minolta, Kodak, Eyecom, Alos & STimaging) only provide a 3 month factory warranty.
