Use the EasyPrint Software to Simplify Printing
In many application, it can be important to simplify the printing of copies from your microfilm, for example in public use applications and situations where computer training would be advisable. Using the optional EasyPrint software, your Microfilm ScanPro 300 can be used to print positive copies from both positive and negative film, direct to a laser printer with a single key-stroke. And to further simply printing for first time operators, EasyPrint provides step-by-step instructions right on the computer monitor .

When should I use IMAGE ROTATION lenses? IMAGE ROTATION lenses are not required for scanning and are not required for viewing on the PC monitor. The Microfilm ScanPro300 scans the entire area of the view screen and the software provides the ability to view scans on the PC monitor in any desired orientation. Therefore, NON IMAGE ROTATION lenses are provided with your Microfilm ScanPro300. This insures the best possible image quality for your scans and the lowest possible equipment cost. However, if the image orientation on your film does not allow for right reading on the view screen and right reading is an application requirement, you will need to consider the IMAGE ROTATION lens option.

The Microfilm ScanPro 500 Aperture Card/Newspaper scanner captures large Engineering size drawings and Newspaper images stored on 35mm microfilm. It is desirable to capture these images at a high resolution so you can zoom in for detail that can be easily viewed and printed to large format paper. These files tend to be large and are best handled by a computer equipped with higher memory and fast processor speeds. |
